Bruce Goldwell of Utah has created a new term for gasoline that gets better gas mileage. When you take ordinary fuel and add a fuel catalyst you get MyEnviroGasâ„¢ which is a fuel that gets better mileage and less emissions.

MyEnviroGasâ„¢ will become the new buzz word in the fuel industry as Goldwell shares the new fuel catalyst from Extreme Research with consumers. While the fuel catalyst has been marketed to commercial companies for 9+ years, it was just released to the general public about 2 years ago.

Because consumers can also become distributors of the fuel catalyst, Goldwell and his co-partners are experiencing astounding growth as others register to become distributors as well. Goldwell’s team is primarily located in Utah, however due to the extreme interest in the fuel catalyst his research shows that this growth will increase over the next few months.

With extreme prices in the gas and oil industry, drivers of gas and diesel vehicles are invited to research the MyEnviroGas TM web site and find out how the fuel catalyst can help them save money at the gas pump and save the air we breath.

The new fuel catalyst does three things for your fuel and vehicle:

  1. Improves engine performance
  2. Increases gas mileage
  3. Decreases harmful emissions

Most drivers are not aware that cars only burn about 85% of the fuel they purchase. This translates to 1.5 gallons being wasted for every ten gallons of fuel. The fuel catalyst increases this to about 99% efficiency which means the other 1.5 gallons will get used which results in increased mileage for consumers.

Because the catalyst also make the other 85% of the fuel burn more efficiently as well the result is less emissions. To be exact, over a 60% reduction in emissions. [PRWEB]

Almost as debilitating as a physical injury, an automobile in need of repair can disrupt many aspects of daily life, resulting in inconvenience and prompting stress and uncertainty — a situation, Ray Moon at, Ford Doctors is determined to change for its clients.

The Ford Doctors automotive professionals have been recently featured on NBC’s Dateline and in the Houston Press. The Ford Doctors understand that automotive repair can be as perplexing as a medical diagnosis. They have established plans and procedures to ensure a “Fix it Right the First Time” diagnosis, to deliver quality repairs and to maintain the highest customer satisfaction and warranties in the automotive industry.

“I truly believe that we have set new standards for all repair shops to aspire too, with our 24/24 warranties and BBB membership,” said Ray Moon, owner, who spent several years training with Ford Motor Company and working with large impersonal dealerships before opening his own shop almost 20 years ago.

“I saw how mechanics and dealerships cut corners and I wanted to offer solid solutions for my customers,” Moon said. “Guessing, or throwing parts at a car and making several trips back to the shop to finally fix it correctly is a gamble. I don’t want to risk or gamble with our clients or their family’s safety or money, as too many shops do. Cheap prices always represent cutting corners, inferior ‘made in China’ parts or guess work, not better quality or workmanship.”

“By using our proven repair philosophy, ‘Test, Verify, Repair & Retest, and final test drive’ we have accomplished what most shops only dream of: “Fixed Right the First Time.” he said. “I’m proud to say that we provide the highest quality and workmanship you’ll find anywhere.”

Moon backs up his claim by offering a “Fix it Right the First Time” Pledge and a “24 Month/24,000 Mile” Warranty, one of the highest in the industry. This ensures correct diagnosis and repairs — or customers don’t pay for future repairs stemming from the visit.

Servicing only models of Lincoln, Ford, and Mercury vehicles, the Ford Doctors are ready to make car care safer and easier. Ford Doctors is a recipient of the “Top Shop Award” from our customers, and a 100% “Repair Effectiveness Rating” from the State of Texas. [PRWEB]

The automobile industry is seeing the sales of extended warranties jump as consumers become increasingly more aware of the need to protect their investments as they hold on to cars longer.

“I plan to give this car to my son in a few years when he is old enough to drive, so I need to make sure I keep it running,” Joseph Melillo, 36, Island Heights, NJ explains. “This is the first time I ever bought an extended warranty,” he continues holding an extended warranty for his Mercury Mountaineer.

Melillo, like many other consumers is moving away from the mindset that he does not plan to own the car long enough to need the extended warranty. “Car owners are realizing that they can’t predict how long they will actually own their vehicles and they are also realizing that extended warranties more than pay for themselves,” Richard Reynolds, GM, Griffin Ford explains.

“The reality is if you need only one or two repairs over the course of the life of your vehicle, the warranty pays for itself. Add in the fact that the warranty adds to the resale value and it has become a no brainer for many car owners,” Reynolds states.

With new and used car prices skyrocketing and being owned well beyond the expiration of the original warranty, consumers are looking to protect their investments. “I blew by my mileage allotment in ½ the years the warranty was for,” Melillo offers as explanation to purchasing an extended warranty.

Many car companies like Ford, Mercury and Lincoln have extended warranty programs that include the ability to have the vehicle serviced in any dealership in the country which puts domestic travelers at ease. “Ford, Lincoln and Mercury owners have the peace of mind that comes with having a warranty that is good anywhere they go in the country,” Reynolds states.

With consumers showing concern for longevity and protecting their investments in cars, homes and other big ticket items, the warranty and insurance industries are seeing an increase in sales. Retailers with a presence online are finding the biggest increase in sales, including Ford, Lincoln and Mercury extended warranty retailers like Griffin Ford. [PRWEB]

My wife’s idea of roughing it is staying at Motel 6 instead of the Hyatt during our vacations. But now with the Campa All Terrain Trailer, perhaps I can convince her to stay a little closer to nature with a “four-star” luxury tent.

The Campa All Terrain Trailer (ATT) is a highly mobile, self-contained living unit which provides campers and avid outdoorsmen the opportunity to navigate hard-to-reach areas that are typically inaccessible by standard trailers. The units, manufactured by Campa USA (www.campausa.com), are deemed a new generation of trailer systems which offer a wide variety of options.

“Accessing remote areas has always been an issue for campers with towing units,” states Chris Cole, president of Campa USA. “But we provide a solution that allows our customers to literally go where others can’t.”

The trailers can be customized with many eye-popping features such as a three room, six person sleeping tent, hot water shower system, custom kitchen unit, 12 volt electrical system, two 22 gallon water tanks, solar power and a matching tow vehicle lug pattern.

Cole added, “Our systems are fully modular and can be customized to fit any particular situation. Everyone does not camp in the same area. Weather, terrain and topography vary from place to place so we can custom-build a unit to address any specific need.”

The all terrain systems fill a niche within the camping industry and are also being used for other applications. Disaster Reconnaissance Systems (DRS), which are similar to the ATT’s, have generated interest on the state and federal levels for disaster and emergency response.

“Our units are extremely versatile and the ways they can be used are really limitless. Many people from a wide range of industries have expressed interest,” noted Cole.

The company’s core following, however, still comes from the camping sector. But if recent feedback from customers is any indication of how the product will be received by other industries, brisk sales will undoubtedly follow suit. [PRWEB]

Envision Credit Union today unveiled its new “Go Green, Save Green” loan program, reducing the annual percentage rate (APR) on new loans for buyers of eco-friendly vehicles by 1 percent — saving consumers nearly $700 on a $20,000 loan over 36 months. With the summer travel season in full swing and gas prices at near record levels, lowering the cost of borrowing will surely bring relief to anyone buying a new “green” vehicle.

According to Consumer Report’s May 2006 national survey, 37 percent of consumers say gasoline prices are so high they are looking at replacing their current vehicles with a more fuel-efficient model. Of those saying they might replace their vehicles, 38 percent are considering either Hybrid-fuel or diesel vehicles. More than half planning to replace their car (55%) said they are thinking about a small economy car.

“With higher gasoline prices, motorists are becoming more conscious of vehicle fuel efficiency,” says Ray E. Cromer, Jr., President/CEO of Envision Credit Union. “We want to provide assistance to our members feeling the pressure of elevated gas prices and offer rewards to those purchasing fuel-efficient vehicles.”

The “Go Green, Save Green” program runs through Oct. 31, 2006. Drivers purchasing a new vehicle that averages 30 miles per gallon (MPG) or greater qualify for the special discounted “Green Rate” offered by Envision’s “Go Green, Save Green” program. Mileage is based on Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates. Final APR is dependent upon an applicant’s credit score. New vehicles must have less than 15,000 miles and be no older than the current model year, plus three prior model years. [PRWEB]

It’s the time of year again when convertible lovers take to the road to enjoy open air motoring and the feeling of swashbuckling adventure. Whether whizzing along the highway or ambling down a country road, spring brings back the fun of alfresco motoring.

In the beginning all cars were open, derived from carriages and buggies. But as cars became more reliable and were used year round, motorists sought better weather protection. By 1925 more closed cars were being sold than open ones.

But although they shrank to a small part of the market, convertibles were still the glamour wagons of the automotive world.

Their allure and romance never died.

Following the unhappy 1930s, and the deprivation of the Second World War, people were ready to celebrate the good times and optimism of the 1950s and ’60s.

Convertibles flourished. Who can forget those beautiful 1955-’56-’57 Chevy convertibles, so popular then and still sought after today. Or low two-seater Thunderbirds, early Corvettes and little English sports cars. Or the huge, tailfinned, chrome-laden 1959 Cadillac Eldorado convertible that wags called the epitome of Wretched Excess, but is now one of the most popular collectibles.

Or those sporty little 1960s Mustangs.

But then the 1970s brought oil crises, emission controls and fuel economy concerns. Motoring fun died, and the American convertible with it. The 1976 Cadillac Eldorado was called “The Last Convertible in America.”

Better times brought them back, led by the 1982 Chrysler LeBaron convertible, followed by Buick, Ford and Chevrolet.

Convertibles are now flourishing, and better than ever, some with metal retractible power roofs like the Pontiac G6 that offer alfresco motoring as well as snug closed car comfort.

Led by General Motors with six convertibles, including the exciting new Saturn Sky, it’s once more a golden age for the open car.

If you have already planned that summer trip and are driving to your destination, take the time to make sure your vehicle is in top condition.

Giving your car a tune up and a thorough check up before you leave will ensure you get the best possible gas mileage and avoid a vacation ruined by a car breakdown.

“Regularly scheduled maintenance is the least expensive and easiest way to protect your safety and your investment,” according to the mechanics at Bedford Greenwich Automotive. “We specialize in high-end vehicles. We know that the longer you wait to make a repair, the more damage can be caused and the more costly the repairs. Taking the time to keep your vehicle in top condition will save you money in the long run.”

They seem like small things, according to Greenwich Bedford Automotive, but they are the standard items we all know about: changing oil and filters, rotating tires, checking brakes, and simply following the manufacturers recommended service intervals. “Very few people take care of their vehicles the way they should for optimum performance, which affects gas mileage and wear and tear on the vehicle.”

Check the oil every month; keep an eye out for any oil or other fluid leaks; pay attention to engine lights; replace worn tires now; listen for changes in the way your car sounds and feels like different noises, rattles, vibrations or burning smells in the vehicle and have them looked at right away; have spark plugs, air filters, fuel filters, belts, hoses, anti-freeze, brakes and all safety items thoroughly checked.

“Pre-maintenance inspections and repairs are very important with all high-end vehicles because breakdowns really can be prevented.” [PRWEB]

With gas prices hovering at $3.00 per gallon, drivers have already begun to migrate from gas guzzling SUVs to fuel efficient hybrids. As a sign of the times, GM recently announced that they plan to discontinue the namesake of the “Hummer deduction” in favor of the smaller Humvee.

“In addition to getting better gas mileage, purchasers of hybrids are also rewarded with a sizeable tax credit through 2010,” explains Andrew Schwartz, CPA, founder of CPANiche.com, a site where taxpayers can interact with CPAs who specialize in a variety of niches such as healthcare and real estate professionals.

“The new hybrid car tax credit replaces the $2,000 Clean Fuel deduction that was in place through the end of 2005. But you should be aware that this credit is only available in connection with the purchase of a new hybrid vehicle, so leasing one or buying a used hybrid vehicle won’t qualify.”

According to the information available on the IRS’ website, below are the vehicles currently eligible for this tax credit, along with the credit applicable to that model:

  • Ford Escape Hybrid Front WD - 2006 $2,600
  • Ford Escape Hybrid 4 WD - 2006 $1,950
  • Honda Civic Hybrid CVT - 2006 $2,100
  • Honda Civic Hybrid SUVEL - 2005 $1,700
  • Honda Insight CVT - 2005 & 2006 $1,450
  • Honda Accord Hybrid AT - 2006 $1,300 or $650
  • Honda Accord Hybrid AT - 2005 $650
  • Lexus GS 450h - 2007 $1,550
  • Lexus RX400h 2WD or 4WD - 2006 $2,200
  • Mercury Mariner Hybrid 4 WD - 2006 $1,950
  • Toyota Camry Hybrid - 2007 $2,600
  • Toyota Highlander Hybrid - 2006 $2,600
  • Toyota Prius - 2005 & 2006 $3,150

Even though the hybrid car tax credit runs though 2010, the credit won’t be available for long on many popular models. To level the playing field for Ford and other newcomers into the hybrid market, the allowable tax credit starts to disappear for a manufacturer once they have sold 60,000 hybrid vehicles. [PRWEB]

With the unofficial start of summer underway, InsureMe, the leading online insurance shopping service, is offering tips to keep cars in prime condition during the high heat and humidity of summer.

Because summer heat can be particularly hard on vehicles, InsureMe recommends the following:

Flushing and refilling the cooling system. Coolant levels and conditions should be checked throughout the summer to avoid overheating—the greatest cause of summer breakdowns.

Checking the vehicle’s radiator core. Cars that have been through a harsh winter face radiator corrosion from salts and deicers on the road. Using antifreeze, even during the summer, will help to reduce corrosion and keep the vehicle from overheating.

Changing the oil. While technicians advocate an oil change every 3,000 miles, cars that are routinely subjected to high heat, humidity and stop-and-go traffic need to be serviced more often.

Checking tire condition and pressure. Keeping the right amount of tire pressure is central to preserving fuel economy and extending the life of the tires. Drivers should also be on the lookout for visible damage to tires, which can worsen under intense heat.

For the numerous car owners who don’t perform their own vehicle maintenance, many repair and tune-up shops are offering summer car care packages which include many of the above mentioned services, with some major retailers offering the summer services for under $100. [PRWEB]
