The Automobile Club of Southern California (AAA) reported today the ninth straight week in lower gasoline prices. Gas prices have dropped an average of $0.53 in Southern California since they peaked to record highs a few days after Labor Day.

Southern California motorists are now paying an average about $7 less at the gas pump each time they fill their tank. The Auto Club expects the prices to decline through December giving motorists a nice Christmas present.
