The quick Hartge BMW 330 jumps over the lazy M5 with a V10 motor! Leftlane News reported today that a “tuner dropped M5’s V10 into BMW 3-series†giving the BMW 3-series 550 horsepower, 383 lb.-ft of torque and a maximum speed of 200 mph.
The BMW M3 pales in comparison to Hartge’s with only 333 horsepower, 262 lb.-ft of torque and a maximum speed of 155 mph. The M5 does better with 500 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft of torque. But both are “lazy dogs†compared to the tuned version.
