A recent study calculated that drivers who talk on their cell phones are four times more likely to be involved in accidents than those who do not and that hands-free phones are no safer than hand-held phones. While generally supportive, PhoneRanger believes the study is incomplete as it did not separately study the safety of truly hands-free phones. PhoneRanger is calling for a widescale study in the US of the efficacy of hands-free devices for cellphones. [PRWEB Jul 15, 2005]
